At Last

It's been quite a week basking in what I always thought would be a dream, but dreams become reality if we're willing to put in the work.
Get out this weekend and join the country in change as we bring hope to a world which is due for something positive. Yes, there are many challenges ahead of us but with work, humbleness and positive action, things can change....at last!

Dare to Dream....

Today many come together, take a moment out and honor the celebration of a dream. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr told this country about a dream. A dream where people would be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. Tomorrow that dream will be a reality as the content of a man's character pushed past the color of his skin to allow him the highest office in the USA.
Because of the ability to dream, a dream became reality thanks to the ability to build character. So push your character today! Dream in the measures of your character! Stop looking at what you don't have but look toward what your character can achieve in your life.
Dream!

It's a snowy Sunday...

What a wonderful day to get out and thank God for this wonderful weather and no I'm not that crazy but I LOVE the snow.
I should I was born February 10, 1966 during a blizzard. My family not owning a car brought me home in a store shopping cart as the buses weren't running so they bundled me up and walked the blocks from the hospital to our 7th floor project apartment. My mother always told me they thought I'd be crying but they found me too happy as they checked me often and saw this child was going to enjoy the snow. From that day forward snow has ALWAYS been a joyful time for me so trust this morning I will pull on my boots, put on my blue bomber and head to church to thank God for this wonderful day of snow when I don't have to rush with the folks off to work! This is my kind of snow day!!!

We Must Talk About Things Like This....

These are the kinds of things that you can easily spark a conversation with your children. Get their viewpoints and share yours what you expect from their future lifestyles, it's never too early to start a casual conversation to let your children know, you will always be there for them.

A girl from Argentina who is 16 years old is now a mother of seven children after giving birth to triplets for the second time. Pamela, who is only 16 years old had her first set of triplets at the age of 15, when she was already having a son, whom she gave birth at age of 14. Both the sets of triplets are all girls.
Pamela’s case has now triggered a debate across Argentina, with the teenager’s casual being talked about in the South American country’s cafes & bars. This case has drawn attention to teen sex education & contraception laws in the Catholic country.
Provincial authorities have supported Pamela’s family by donating land & building them a house when the first set of triplets was born.

With the weather so crazy here in NJ this is the only ICE I can truly appreciate...

ICE - "In Case of Emergency"

We all carry our mobile phones with names & numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than ourselves, knows which of these numbers belong to our closest family or friends.

If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn't know who to call. Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Hence this "ICE" (In Case of Emergency) Campaign
The concept of "ICE" is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during emergency situations. As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is st ore the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name "ICE" ( In Case Of Emergency).
The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn't know which number to call. He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital Staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the number you have stored as "ICE."
For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc. A great idea that will make a difference!
Let's spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE number in our Mobile phones today!

Introducing.....

So how does one start a blog?

Is there an official greeting, a proper start or a way to introduce yourself to some of the most intriguing people on earth, not sure.

I'm online ALL the time! I find myself like President Obama lost without my blackberry. Funny though I've only been a berry baby since September 2008, thanks to my lovely daughter. Now without it I feel lost as there is so much information out there to obtain.

That's what WTLS Total Awareness is all about, sharing information!

WTLS has been a health awareness business since 1996 when my mother was fighting an 11 year battle with cancer. There were so many questions that we needed answers and I begin posting a newsletter as I found others with the same questions.

From there I found myself with questions on heart disease as my brother battled in 2001 and my best friend diabetes in 2005. Each of these battles I found myself sharing information rather than sitting and allowing their lives to bring me down.

Today, I find myself full of information on multiple things which people want to use for ideas they have in their heads but just don't know where to start! So ask me!

WTLS Total Awareness offers free online answers to your various questions on ALL events in your life. It can be your health, your upcoming wedding, how do I get my child to do this, that party you're hosting or attending, what should we do at our next conference or I want to start a..... and yes if I don't know the answer I WILL find it for you!

Now I know you're asking, how does she do all this for free, EASY...it's online!

If you desire WTLS Total Awareness services on site at your event, that's where the fees start but online, we're totally free!

So look for various topics here and feel free to email me on topics of interest. WTLS Total Awareness is a community based company for the community. If you live, you're a part of the community so join us!
